🦉Yövalo – youth group
Yövalo (eng. Night light) is an open peer support group for all those under 29 years. In the group we can have conversations, do arts and play board games over free coffee. All intoxicating substances including alcohol are prohibited in the group meetings.
The youth group meetings are held on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Kulttuuriareena 44 (address Kauppakatu 44, Kuopio).
🛋️Sateenkaari-olkkari
Sateenkaari-olkkari is jointly organized by Kulttuuripaja Luode and Pohjois-Savon Seta ry. The group is for people over 18 years old. Just hanging out and sometimes a special program. A professional person from Luode and two peer instructors are always there.
The group meets are on Thursdays of even weeks always from 16:00 to 17:30 at Kulttuuripaja Luode, address Kasarmikatu 21.
🎨Queer Drawing
Welcome to draw, meet friends, rest, listen, be, forget, empty your head, make mistakes, laugh out loud, share thoughts and be queer in good creative company! This spring, we are going to create some new pieces individually and together, as always. You will meet new visitors and create a little place/home/shelter for your queerness. Visit once or participate throughout the spring!

🎲Gaymers Night
Let´s play games together! The group meets at Kulttuuriareena 44 (Kauppakatu 44, Kuopio) where you can enter from the side door on Lapinlinnakatu side by pressing the doorbell. Game night is the first Friday of every month.
☕Hangout for men
Men, boys and transmasculine, welcome! The men’s hangout group is gathering for casual discussion. The purpose of the group is to bring together those who want to meet each other in a relaxed atmosphere at events and around shared activities.
🏳️⚧️Hangout for trans people
Hangout night for trans people over the age of 18. Bring your own boardgame if you want and let’s play together, or we can just hang around and chat! Coffee, tea and snacks provided.
☀️A group for late bloomers
The peer group is intended for individuals who previously identified as heterosexual or adapted to societal norms, but later in adulthood begin to explore their sexual orientation or gender identity in a different way. You are welcome to join even if you are just starting this journey.
The group is an open, safe, and reliable meeting place where adults can talk with their peers about both deep life stages and everyday topics.
In the group, everyday life and experiences are shared, such as the feelings of coming out of the closet and the reactions of loved ones and work life. We discuss changes and emotions and freely share thoughts and tips. The group is led by peer facilitators, and we meet every other week without commitment – you can participate whenever it suits you.
In our group we pay special attention to the principles of a safer space.
🖋️Literary art -group
We will try different methods of literary art together, like different forms of poetry and creative writing. Welcome to create!

🧠Neurodivergent Group
All queer neurodivergent adults are welcomed, whether you have an official diagnosis or not. Come meet other queer neurodivergent people and plan the group’s future activities together. The group will be bilingual, so you can participate in English or in Finnish!
